An RSS reader for iPhone and Android with no login required. Two feeds: Browse for everything, Keep up for the few sources you never want to miss. Clean reader view, offline queue, and optional summaries that run on your device.
Hi Product Hunt. I built Gather because every RSS reader I tried turned into another inbox, with one list and one unread count that only went up.
Gather splits that into two feeds. Browse is a relaxed chronological stream where nothing is marked unread and coverage of the same story is grouped. Keep up is a short list for the handful of sources you actually want to finish.
There is no login. Feed subscriptions and articles live on your phone, and optional summaries and translation download a model once and then run on the device.
Reading, search, OPML export, and offline tools are free. A one-time purchase removes the sponsored cards in the feed, and there is no subscription.
Paywalls and JavaScript-heavy pages can defeat any extractor, so Gather falls back to the live page when that happens. Backups use iCloud on iOS and Google Drive on Android, and those do not sync with each other.
