Gather
An invite-only events board for the people in your life
Group plans without the group text. Post once, the right people see it, one tap to say "I'm in." Built for families, friend groups, book clubs, and crews that pass season tickets around. Invite-only, friendly, and casual
Hi Product Hunt. I built Gather because my family passed Rodeo season tickets around and every night someone was texting "who has the tickets tonight?" or "Have they sent over the email yet?". AXS transfers only land in one inbox, so the passes lived in one phone and one person had to orchestrate the passes around in five chats. It morphed from there and supports the pass management, but also more.
The app is a private events board scoped to an invited circle (a family, a friend group, a book club). Two event types: social ("I'm hiking Sunday, come if you want") and ticketed (claim a date on a shared season pass, confirm the handoff). It’s intentionally private and designed for both planners and spontaneous people: the type A folks who want everything organized ahead of time, and the type B folks who decide last minute and just want to jump onto someone else's plan.
Would love feedback on the model and the technical choices. Especially curious whether the "private by design" framing reads as a feature or a limit to this crowd.

Who hunted Gather?
Gather was hunted by ZucciDevs. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
