GasoFind is a free web app that helps Spanish drivers save money on fuel. It pulls official data from the Spanish Ministry of Ecological Transition and displays prices for 12,000+ gas stations across Spain.
Hey everyone! GasoFind was born out of pure frustration. Every time I needed to fill up the tank, I had no idea if I was overpaying by 10-20 cents per liter compared to the station 2 km away. With fuel prices in Spain fluctuating wildly, that difference adds up to hundreds of euros per year.
The Spanish government actually publishes all gas station prices via an open API, but nobody was making that data easy to use. So I built GasoFind -- a clean, fast web app that pulls data from the Ministry of Ecological Transition and puts it on an interactive map.
What started as a simple price checker grew into something bigger:
• Interactive map with 12,000+ stations, color-coded by price
• Province and city-level price comparisons
• Historical price trends so you can see where prices are heading
• Available in 8 languages (including Basque, Catalan, Galician -- not just the obvious ones)
