I built GARRICK after getting frustrated with AI reviewers currently available in the market that only gives surface-level feedback without any real understanding of the codebase they are reviewing.
Most tools take your diff, throw it at an LLM, and call it a review. The problem is a 5-line change in one file can break ten things across your entire repository. A diff tells you nothing about that.
GARRICK approaches this differently.Before any review starts, it parses your entire repository and builds a structural call graph every function, every class, every dependency mapped and connected. When a PR comes in, it already knows how your codebase fits together.
Then a team of specialist agents gets to work in parallel. One analyses code quality and anti-patterns. One hunts for security vulnerabilities at the exact line. One maps which functions across your entire repo are affected by this PR. One identifies test coverage gaps based on what the changed code actually does. Before anything reaches your PR, a final agent validates every finding. Nothing gets posted without being checked first.
The output is a structured review posted directly on your GitHub PR within a few minutes. Real file paths. Real line numbers. Real fixes. Works across Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Go, Java and more. Structural parsing handles the polyglot support not just LLM pattern matching.
