We built Gardro because we noticed that many children today are growing up disconnected from nature, while parents struggle to find meaningful outdoor activities that compete with screens.
Gardro is a gardening robot that turns growing food into a fun, hands-on experience for families. It helps automate routine garden tasks while encouraging kids to dig, plant, water, and learn through real-world interaction.
We wanted to make gardening less about maintenance and more about discovery, creativity, and family time. The challenge was finding the right balance between automation and participation—creating a robot that helps without taking away the joy of gardening.
After many iterations, Gardro evolved into a companion that makes vegetable gardening easier while keeping children engaged in the process.
