Gapshot is a minimalist reflex arcade game where you time your tap to pass through rotating rings. Build combos, push your limits, and chase the leaderboard — but miss once and it’s over. Simple to learn, brutally hard to master.

Top comment

Hey 👋 I built Gapshot as a small experiment around one idea: how far can you push a simple mechanic? Most mobile games today add layers: upgrades, currencies, systems… I wanted to go the opposite way: strip everything down to pure skill. In Gapshot, it’s just you, your timing, and one rule: miss once, and it’s over. It started as a quick prototype, but I kept refining the feel, making every tap satisfying, every failure fair, and every run addictive enough to try “just one more time”. Would love your feedback 🙌 What do you think about the difficulty? Too punishing or just right?

Who hunted Gapshot?

Gapshot was hunted by Javier Morant. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
