I started building Gap Moment because the advice I kept hearing did not match the actual problem I had at night.
I could be exhausted and still feel mentally switched on. Meditation apps asked me to clear my mind, but the whole issue was that my mind would not clear. White noise helped the room feel less sharp, but it did not stop the internal scanning. Melatonin could shift timing, but it did not solve the feeling of being stuck on the gas pedal.
Gap Moment is my attempt to make the transition into rest more physical and easier to follow. Each kit pairs natural scent patches with a guided imagery audio scene. The audio gives restless attention one calm place to move through. The scent gives the body a sensory cue that does not require more thinking.
The first collection includes four scenes: a Patagonian glacier walk, northern lights in Husavik, a Pamir plateau campfire, and New Zealand glowworm caves.
This is not a medical product or a sleep hack. It is a small wellness ritual for people whose brains need a better way to come down.
