Gantry — lightweight portfolio and project management: WBS, Gantt, issues and risks in one self-hosted tool. Read-only Jira sync. Free for internal use.
Hi Product Hunt! 👋
Gantry is a lightweight take on tools like Asana — here's why I built it.
I'm a project manager on hardware product teams. Our plans, tasks and status reports lived in different places and were never in sync. The big suites could do everything, but they cost a lot per seat, took weeks to set up and asked everyone to change how they work. I wanted the essentials that project and portfolio managers use every day, in one place:
• A portfolio page with every project's goals, key risks and blockers
• A WBS you edit like a spreadsheet — type, paste rows, undo and redo
• A Gantt with dependencies, critical path, baselines and "what if" scenarios
• Open issues and a risk register right next to the plan
• A leave schedule and a workload view that shows where people's work overlaps
• Read-only Jira sync: it reads your issues and never writes back
It runs in English and Russian, supports single sign-on, and self-hosts with Docker and PostgreSQL. It's free for personal and internal company use, and the source is on GitHub.
The live demo opens without sign-up — feel free to click around.
I'd love your feedback: what's missing for you to try it with your team, and what feels clunky? Every comment will be read.

Who hunted Gantry?
Gantry was hunted by Sergei Gladkov. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
