Gamma AI Slide
AI slides you can edit in PowerPoint, or fix old decks
Gamma AI Slide turns a topic, your notes or a web page into a slide deck. It researches, asks a few questions, lets you edit the outline, then builds the slides. When you add your own files, every number traces back to them, and anything they don't say is marked TBD instead of made up. Export editable PPTX or PDF, or upload an oldpptx to rewrite or translate its text in place. 20 free credits with Google sign-in, one-time packs, no subscription.
Hi Product Hunt! I build Gamma AI Slide on my own. It's an independent project.
It started with a deck for my customer. I asked Claude to make it, and two things kept going wrong for me: it filled in numbers I had never given it, and when I wanted last time's deck with new content, the layout and charts didn't survive. So I started building something to make that deck, and it kept growing.
What it does about those two problems:
- Upload your notes and every number on a slide has to come from them. Click a number to see the line it came from. Anything the notes don't say is marked TBD.
- Upload an existing .pptx and say what to change. Only that text changes; layout, charts and images stay, and you get your original file back.
New decks export to editable PPTX or PDF. You can watch three recorded runs without an account: https://gammaslide.com/demo/laun...
Making your own needs Google sign-in: 20 free credits, then one-time packs from $5.99. No subscription.
I'd love feedback on two things:
1. After watching a demo, is it clear what this does differently?
2. Which of the two problems above matters more to you?
