Find the next game to play without digging through Steam and reading Reviews. Love 007 First Light but want more sneaky infiltrations? Love Factorio but always wanted it to be in 3D? You can find and filter over 100.000 games in real-time for anything you're looking for. Once you find a game, it's finally time to stop having to read reviews. 'Mostly Positive' could hide a game that's a 10/10 for you because you don't care about graphics or early performance issues. Easily see this at a glance.
Gameslike is a super over-engineered side-project I built just out of spite for all other platforms out there. I want people to find cool games - that's it - so It's free!
So what can you do with Gameslike? Well, three things essentially:
Discover new games with the fastest real-time search and filter system available. It's hopelessly over engineered so you can filter every aspect of over 100k+ games in milliseconds - all in real-time. Sounds like it shouldn't make a difference, but try it.
Find and filter similar games better and faster than any other platform out there. I build AI tools, ML Backends and other things as my main projects, so I've used every single bit of state of the art knowledge I have to unnecessarily over engineer this because I was tired of manually finding similar games.
Identify hidden gems that fit your preferences: Have you ever seen games that are 'Mostly Negative', just to find out people just hate the publisher after digging through reviews and the game is actually a 10/10? I have, and it's tiresome. On the other hand, you might care about publishers more than me. That's cool! You can now see how good each aspect of a game is at a glance.
What I would love feedback on:
- Do the recommendation explanations feel useful, or still too generic? - What's the most frustrating thing about Steam you'd like to make 10x better?
Again: The site is free. No account needed. I don't even have affiliate links or anything. I just like games.
One thing I'd love to see is a way to save and share lists of games that match my specific taste, like "cozy stealth games with low spec requirements." Right now finding them is great but I end up losing track of what I was excited about by the next session.

GAMESLIKE was hunted by Alex Burlis. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
