GameShipKit
81 browser tools that get your indie game ready to ship
GameShipKit is a free toolbox for indie game devs that runs in your browser. Rig a character from one image, make store screenshots and icons, cut trailers, design enemy waves, item databases and state machines, and export straight to Godot 4 and Unity. No sign-up, and your files never leave your computer. The free tools stay free. Pro unlocks batch exports and 10 Pro-only tools.
I make small games on my own, and I kept losing whole days to the parts around the game: store screenshots in ten sizes, an icon for every platform, a trailer, sprite sheets, and the same enemy, item and state machine code in every project. So I started building the tools I wanted, one per problem, all in the browser.
There are 81 of them now. A few I'm proud of:
Character Rigger: drop in one character image, it fits a skeleton and a mesh for you, and you get 14 animations. Pro exports a real Godot 4 rig with Bone2D nodes and an AnimationPlayer.
Shader Effect Maker: stack outline, hit flash, dissolve and glow on a sprite, then export a Godot shader and a Unity shader.
Wave & Spawn Designer: plan a survivors run on a timeline, watch it play out, export a spawner script.
Launch Pack Wizard: every image Google Play, the App Store, Steam and itch.io ask for, in one ZIP.
Everything runs locally in your browser, so nothing is uploaded. Every Godot and Unity export was opened and run in Godot 4.7 and Unity 6.3 before this launch.
I built it with a lot of help from AI, and I'd love to hear what breaks, what's missing, and which tool you'd want next. I'll be here all day answering comments.

Who hunted GameShipKit?
GameShipKit was hunted by Jaehyun Cho. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
