I'm Andrei. Together with @yankouskia I built games.family. We're both dads — my daughter is 3, his boys are 4 and under 1.
The itch: every time we handed our kids a "free" game, it was 80% ads and "buy the full version." We just wanted something simple and calm to hand over for 10–15 minutes without garbage flashing on screen.
So we made it:
• 100% free — no ads, no in-app purchases
• No install — runs in any browser, phone or tablet
• Short, gentle games built for toddlers & preschoolers
The part we're most excited about: you can create your own game in a single sentence, or remix an existing one to fit your child. Type "a counting game with dinosaurs" and play it. Kids love games they helped make.
