Hey PH 👋 I'm Vincent, and I built GainCut because I was stuck in the same loop for years: training hard, tracking every set, but completely guessing my diet. I'd bulk and get fat. I'd cut and lose muscle. The reason was obvious — I had no idea what I was actually eating. The problem with most food trackers: they're built for general health, not for lifters. They don't care whether you're bulking or cutting. They want you to weigh food and type everything manually. They want your email. GainCut is different: - One photo = full macro breakdown. No scales, no typing. - Phase-aware targets. Surplus for bulks, deficit for cuts. Your macros adapt. - Protein prioritized. Higher during cuts to preserve muscle. - Apple Health sync. Reads your weight and body fat automatically. - Private. No accounts. No tracking. Photos processed transiently. It's iOS only for now. Free on the App Store. I built this as a solo maker in Hong Kong 🇭🇰. Happy to answer any questions about the build (SwiftUI, Vision AI, Core ML), the nutrition logic, or anything else.
