I built FXNewsBias because I was wasting too much time every morning jumping between 5+ news sites trying to figure out the market mood before placing a trade. There was no single place that just told me whether the news flow was bullish or bearish on each currency.
So I made one. Here's what it does:
🎯 Scores all 8 majors (USD, EUR, GBP, JPY, AUD, CAD, CHF, NZD) bullish→bearish, refreshed every 3 hours
📊 Flags sentiment vs price divergence — when news turns bearish but price keeps climbing, a reversal often follows (this was the hardest feature to build)
🌡️ Market risk-appetite gauge (risk-on vs risk-off at a glance)
📰 Daily session recaps for Asia, London & NY
The core dashboard is 100% free, no signup. There's a Pro tier ($9.99/mo) for alerts, history & PDF reports, but I wanted the main value open to everyone.
Built solo with vanilla JS, Cloudflare Workers, Supabase, Firebase, Claude API for the sentiment engine, and Twelve Data for live prices.
