Funny Guys started from a simple idea: make a mobile party game that is easy to jump into, chaotic enough to be funny, and fun to play with other people.
The hard part was never just “making more content.” As the game grew, we needed to scale character production, improve the UI, make online play more robust, improve bot behavior, and keep finding issues before players did. Apparently game development enjoys multiplying problems when nobody is looking. 😅
Recently, GPT-6 Astra has changed how we work on the project. We’ve been using it across multiple parts of development: creating character concepts, building a Blender MCP workflow that helped us produce up to 148 3D characters, rebuilding the entire UI, improving the bot feedback system, expanding online modes, analyzing bugs, and planning new maps.
What I find most interesting is that Astra is not being used for just one isolated AI feature. It has become part of the production workflow across art, development, QA, and content expansion.
Funny Guys is already a live game, but this launch represents a new stage for us: seeing how far a small game team can push a real production pipeline with Astra.
