Hey Product Hunt, I'm Sebastian 👋
I wanted to talk to my coding agent while it was still working, without constantly watching the terminal for updates. So I built Full-Duplex Code.
GPT Live 1 handles the voice conversation. Claude Code does the coding in its normal terminal. You can ask what is happening, discuss a decision, or give a correction while the agent works.
The part I care about most is that it follows the same coding session. If you type directly into Claude, the companion receives that prompt and Claude's displayed replies too. When it already has the answer, it can respond without creating another agent task. When you want new work, it sends a request into that Claude session.
The demo shows the companion alongside Claude Code and a game-building session. The gallery includes a simple interaction diagram and a deeper architecture map if you want to see how the pieces connect.
This is an early release. Recent context is shared, but long-session recall still needs more testing. You stay in charge of tool approvals in the terminal.
To try it: install Node.js 22+, sign into Claude Code, add your own OpenAI API key with GPT Live 1 access, and run the quick start on GitHub. Tested on macOS with Chrome. OpenAI voice usage and your Claude plan are separate costs. The code is available under PolyForm Noncommercial 1.0.0.
