I'm Ajmal, founder of FTS.Money. I have been in payments since the early 2000s, and I want to start with the honest version of why we built this.
The mistake we made (and most payment companies still make): For years, we tried to be both a payments business and an infrastructure business. We rebuilt our own stack several times. In an age of cloud and AI, that is no longer a defensible use of a PSP's time.
Payment companies should be winning merchants. The infrastructure should be rented from people who do nothing else. So we turned what we had built into exactly that.
What it is: A self-service cloud portal where PSPs, ISOs, orchestrators, fintechs and merchants can launch payment infrastructure without a sales call. PSP instances, an ISO Gateway, Orchestration, a marketplace of 150+ providers, and a large collection of in-depth Knowledge Base articles, all available to browse from the moment you sign in. Live in 24 hours. LEI-first by default, so every entity and every transaction is anchored to a verifiable identity from day one.
Today is Phase 1 of three:
1. Phase 1 (today) - Community Portal: explore, onboard, provision.
2. Phase 2 - Full payment infrastructure for PSPs, acquiring banks and payment orchestrators, with a native ISO 20022 gateway.
3. Phase 3 - Agentic Payments: rails purpose-built for AI agents to transact safely, with identity and intent enforced at the protocol level.
