The hard part wasn't the code — it was that the rules refuse to behave like a function. Adaptability caps at 10 however many categories apply. Language isn't averaged, so one weak ability disqualifies you outright regardless of total. My first pass smoothed those into something reasonable, which is exactly wrong. Regulation isn't reasonable, it's specific.
