Hey Product Hunt! 👋

I’m John, and today I’m launching Fretboard IQ, an app that helps guitarists actually know their fretboard instead of relying on shapes and muscle memory.

I played for years and still couldn’t tell you what note I was on past the 5th fret. Most apps I tried were either dry flashcards or locked behind a subscription, so I built the tool I wanted.

What it does:
🎸 Interactive quizzes for notes, chords, and scales
🧠 All popular scales and chords searchable
🎵 Built-in metronome and tuner, so it’s all in one place
📱 iOS, Android, and Windows
💸 One-time price, with no subscriptions and no ads, ever.

I’d love your feedback, especially from guitarists: what’s the one thing you wish you’d learned earlier? I’ll be here all day answering questions. Thanks for checking it out! 🙏
