I'm the maker of Freedom.
I built Freedom because I kept running into a weird problem with productivity apps: they were great at helping me plan my day, but once I started working, I was still responsible for managing everything.
Start the timer. Stop the timer. Remember to take a break. Start the next task. Check the clock. Repeat.
I wanted to remove that entire layer of micromanagement.
So I built Freedom.
You plan your tasks, give them durations, press Start, and Freedom runs the schedule for you.
Task → Break → Task → Break → Task
It also records what actually happened, so you can see the difference between what you planned and how your day really went.
Freedom is completely free, and I'm now looking for people to actually use it and tell me where I've got this wrong.
