colour me intrigued! The model is a great idea and with the price increase for tokens from deepseek could be a good alternative.

Wow! I just discovered freebuff. I'm testing the desktop version and loving it. I can't believe I didn't know about this sooner. Please release more models for Brazil!! 😍😍

FYI I was invited by Freebuff to support their Product Hunt launch. Unfortunately, after my own experience and feedback from people I referred, I cannot recommend it. 1. Misleading model promotion I received a promotional email explicitly advertising GPT-5.6 Luna as 100% free. I shared Freebuff with other people partly because of this promotion. In practice, both I and people I referred appear to have access only to DeepSeek. If you advertise a specific model to attract users and referrals, but that model isn't actually available to those users, I consider that seriously misleading. Any regional or other restrictions should have been clearly disclosed before signup. 2. Agent permissions and sandboxing I also have serious concerns about the client's permissions. From my experience and feedback from people I referred, the agent appears to have very broad access without sufficiently clear and predictable workspace boundaries. For an agent capable of modifying files, explicit permissions and strong sandboxing are essential. 3. Communication The promotional emails — including the request to support this Product Hunt launch — arrive under a personal-looking sender such as "James from Freebuff", yet replies to that sender address don't work. There is apparently a separate support address, but users have to discover it separately. You are asking users for referrals and public support. I think users deserve the same transparency about what they're actually getting and an obvious way to respond when something is wrong. Why I'm posting this I was explicitly asked to support this launch. I cannot honestly give it a positive recommendation, so I'm sharing my actual experience instead. I'm not posting this to start a debate, and I won't participate in arguments or spend time defending my experience. I've described what happened and why I cannot recommend the product. Other users can look at the facts, try the product themselves, and make their own decision.

Amazing product! Been using it for a few months. Equivalent to Claude Code but free. Used it for data analysis for work as well as creating tools eg football manager moneyball tools. The harness really impressed me as it started checking some maths for me when I asked it about optimising collision detection for 3d objects. That's what inspired me to get it to help with data analysis too. I also used it to help research robot cars and drones for my son to use on ebay. So it has search tools too. It's amazing

genuinely no need to pay for tokens for solo work & personal life anymore. great product and evolving fast.

This is my first comment here on the website, but the team behind it truly deserves it! It's mind-blowing to see what's possible when you can do token maximization. I hope you all enjoy it.

Really incredible how much you performance you can get out of these smaller and cheaper models with a well engineered harness. A lot of people are wasting their money using frontier intelligence for every task when most tasks don’t need it!

Freebuff is squeezing the most intelligence possible out of the models for no cost to the developer. No one is doing it better. Towards intelligence too cheap to meter!
