Free Transform brings Photoshop-style transforms into Figma, so your graphic work no longer needs a round trip to Adobe. Scale, rotate, skew and distort freely, then go further with Pro: Plane Warp for mockups and perspective, Pin Warp (like Puppet Warp), Liquify, Custom Mesh, batch processing and ultra quality export. With Presets & Re-edit, you can come back and adjust a transform anytime, right in Figma. Free forever, upgrade to Pro when you need more.
Hi Product Hunt 👋
I'm Hà, a graphic designer who's been working in Figma for over 6 years. A lot of that time went into graphic work, not just UI.
What inspired this
Figma became home for almost everything I do, except one part. Whenever a piece needed warping, perspective, or a mockup, I had to go back to Photoshop or Illustrator, do the transform there, export it, and bring it back into Figma. Once it was back, I couldn't edit it anymore. So one small change from a client meant doing that whole round trip again. After years of this, I decided to build what I kept wishing Figma had.
The problem I wanted to solve
I wanted to keep the whole graphic workflow inside Figma. That meant scaling, rotating, skewing and distorting freely, and above all being able to come back and adjust a transform later instead of redoing it from scratch.
How it evolved
Free Transform started with the core Ctrl+T-style tools, and designers using it pushed it further than I expected. Their feedback shaped Pro, which adds the heavier tools graphic work really needs: Plane Warp for mockups, Pin Warp, Liquify, Custom Mesh, batch processing, ultra quality export, and Presets & Re-edit.
I made two rules for myself along the way. First, the free version stays free: Pro only adds new tools and never locks away anything people already use. Second, transforms should never damage your original layers, which is why stability came before speed for this release.
What I'd love from you
Pro is in early beta, so there may be rough edges. I'd really appreciate hearing:
Where it breaks, or any odd edge cases you run into
Which tool you'd reach for most in your own work
What still sends you back to Adobe
I'll be here all day to answer questions. Thanks so much for checking it out 🙏
