often wonder what makes the perfect MicroBlog app. Eventually, I decided to build it myself. Fread is my attempt to create an app that, in an ideal world, supports all MicroBlog protocols and unifies all interactions. I believe we don’t need many complicated apps—just one that does it all. Another app trying to be the all-in-one solution, we've seen this before with Hootsuite and Feedly, not sure we need another, plus they always start free and end up charging later, sounds like a tall order to me, good luck with that
So you've spent over 600 days on this and we're getting yet another microblog client, seems like more of the same old thing packaged differently, do we really need another app trying to do it all, especially when most fail at delivering even one thing well
Found out about this through a friend's recommendation, though it's cool to see something new on the market, I'm skeptical, why not just improve existing apps instead of adding another one, and do we really need yet another platform merger, also what's the plan for privacy and data management
