Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm Kees. I've always had an affinity for software, and FrameLoom — one of a small lineup of tools I build and maintain myself under the Tough-Stuff name — is the project where that really found its footing. FrameLoom started from a simple annoyance: I needed round and shaped photo crops fairly often (icons, profile pictures, product shots) and kept ending up in heavyweight, subscription-based editors just to cut a circle out of a photo. So I built the tool I actually wanted: pick a shape (circle, oval, heart, rounded square, even a "binoculars" double-lens shape), adjust the border and shadow, and export. The Pro tier adds a magic-wand/lasso tool to make backgrounds transparent. No account, no upload — it all runs locally in your browser using the File System Access API, so your photos never leave your computer. It's a one-time purchase, not a subscription: Basis is €14.95, Pro (with the transparency tools) is €24.95. You can try it free first with a watermark to see if it fits your workflow before paying anything. Would love to hear what shapes or features you'd want next — I'm actively building this myself and read every comment.
