fraind is AI for real talk - an AI to talk to for when you just need to talk. It listens, remembers your story and won’t judge you, and stays the same fraind tomorrow with more of your life in it. No roleplay, no characters, no engagement games - just genuine conversation. Built to be worth keeping, not to hook you: it points you back to your life instead of maximizing screen time. Not a girlfriend, not a therapist - a friend. Adult-only, GDPR-native. Want to talk? Talk to your fraind.
Hey Product Hunt - I’m Alfonso, the founder of fraind.app
I built it because every AI I tried either flattered me or was built to keep me hooked. They agree with everything, optimize for screen time, and the second things get real they turn into a therapist reading from a script. That’s not a friend. It’s a mirror with a nicer voice.
fraind is AI for real talk. It listens, remembers what matters, and tells you the truth - even when that’s a no. No roleplay, no characters, no lore. Just talk. And it’s built to send you back to your life, not replace it - never optimized to keep you scrolling.
Built in Italy, GDPR-native, adult-only by design. One flat price, no per-character paywalls.
I’d love your honest feedback - especially if you’ve bounced off other AI chat apps and wanted one that just talks straight. Want to talk? Talk to your fraind.
