I'm the maker of FotoPro — and I'll be upfront: this is built for Brazil. 🇧🇷
It started with a simple frustration: a good professional headshot here means either booking a studio (expensive, and you have to leave the house) or trusting a foreign AI app that charges in dollars, only takes international cards, and makes you pay upfront — before you've seen a single result.
So I built the version Brazilians actually need:
📸 Upload a few selfies (no studio, no ring light)
🤖 The AI generates professional headshots for LinkedIn, résumés and corporate profiles
👀 You see a free watermarked preview before paying — don't like it, don't pay for the HD
💳 Pays with PIX (or local card), from R$1.99
Two things I'm proud of:
1. Preview before you pay. Most tools take your money first and show results later. I wanted the opposite — judge the photos, then decide.
2. Made for the local reality — Portuguese, PIX, fair local pricing. Not a dollar-priced gringo app with a Portuguese sticker on top.
I know most of PH is international and won't be the target user here — but I'd still love feedback from makers on:
- the quality of the generated headshots (screenshots in the gallery 👀)
- the preview-before-pay flow
- how you'd approach growth for a deliberately local, single-market product
