AI agents get blocked the moment they act on the real web: sites detect the automation and shut them down. Fortress fixes that. Add it with one line of code, or drop in our MCP, and your agents pull leads, monitor prices, book, check out, and research across the web without getting blocked. It's a stealth Chromium that reads as an ordinary Chrome, so keep your Playwright or Puppeteer and nothing else changes. Open engine, BSD-3.

hey product hunt, i'm arman, and today i'm launching fortress with my team. we started building this because we notices that every browser agent and scraper we made eventually hit the same wall: it runs fine in testing, then a real site reads the browser's fingerprint, spots the automation, and blocks it. the usual fix is a javascript stealth plugin, and modern detectors see straight through those. fortress is a stealth chromium that corrects the fingerprint inside the engine itself, so it reads as an ordinary chrome and your agent actually finishes the job. two ways to use it: - add it in one line. point your existing playwright or puppeteer at it over cdp and nothing else in your code changes. - or drop in our mcp, and your agent gets a stealth browser as a tool that fetches blocked pages on its own. it passes the fingerprint detectors clean: creepjs at 0% headless, sannysoft, and browserscan, and it clears live cloudflare turnstile as a stock chrome. i've even had it load real akamai-protected retail sites from a plain residential ip. and it's fully open, bsd-3: every fingerprint patch is a small diff you can read and rebuild yourself, no closed binary to trust. would love your feedback. point it at the site that's been blocking you and tell us how it goes. much love!

Comment highlights

The one-line integration is genuinely thoughtful, dropping it into existing Playwright without rewriting anything is exactly the kind of restraint that shows respect for the developer's stack.

Who hunted Fortress?

Fortress was hunted by Arman Luthra. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
