I have worked in the industry for 15 years, and in that time I have seen many vendors offering what I call a "black box solution". You pay money, get confirmation you are secure and compliant, but never "own" it yourself. So it becomes impossible to become self-sufficient in the future as you grow.
I built Fortify to solve this for small and medium businesses — they know they need to take cyber security seriously, especially when enterprise clients start asking for ISO 27001 or Cyber Essentials before signing contracts, but the path to getting there is either hire a consultant for £10k+ or wade through guidance written for large enterprises with dedicated security teams.
Neither works for a 20-person business trying to win their first big contract.
