FormVision
AI form check for your lifts — bar path, speed & score
Film your squat, bench or deadlift from the side. FormVision tracks your body in 3D and your barbell frame by frame — bar path, rep speed, depth, lockout — then scores your set /100 with cues in plain gym language and a 4-week plan. Everything runs on-device: your videos never leave your phone, no account needed.
Hey Product Hunt 👋
I built FormVision because every "AI form check" app I tried had the same problem: they draw nice skeletons but don't actually *measure* anything. Meanwhile, the tools coaches respect (bar path apps, VBT devices) make you draw lines by hand or buy hardware.
FormVision does the boring-but-hard thing: it tracks your body in 3D AND your barbell, frame by frame, from a normal phone video. You get your real bar path (not a hand-drawn guess), rep-by-rep bar speed in m/s, depth, lockout — scored /100 with cues in normal gym language, plus a 4-week plan targeting your weakest metric.
Two honesty rules that shaped the product:
1. We only measure what a phone camera can see reliably from the side. No fake precision, no medical claims. If the framing is wrong, the app says so instead of inventing a score.
2. Everything runs on-device. Your videos never leave your phone. No account needed.
It's live on the App Store now. I'd genuinely love feedback from anyone who lifts — and if you try it on a real set, tell me what the score got right (or wrong). That feedback loop is how the analyzers got calibrated in a real gym over the last months.
