FormatCue is a privacy-first toolkit for video editors, subtitlers, content creators, translators, and developers working with subtitle and data files. Extract text from SRT/VTT, convert VTT to SRT and SRT to VTT, shift subtitle timing, convert subtitle FPS, and turn JSON into CSV — all locally in your browser, with no uploads or accounts.
Hi everyone 👋
I built FormatCue because many subtitle and file-conversion tools either feel overly complicated, require uploads, or force users through accounts and unnecessary steps.
FormatCue keeps things simple: SRT/VTT to text, VTT to SRT, SRT to VTT, subtitle time shifting, subtitle FPS conversion, and JSON to CSV — all processed locally in the browser. No uploads, no accounts, and no installation.
My goal is to keep expanding it with small, useful tools while preserving the same privacy-first approach.
I’d really appreciate your feedback, especially on usability, missing tools, or anything that could make FormatCue more useful. Thanks for checking it out!
