One app for food: scan a product to see what's in it, find recipes from what's already in your fridge, plan the week with one shopping list, and log what you eat. Every score shows its working, and when data is missing the app says so instead of guessing. No ads, data never sold, built and hosted in the EU. Scanning, recipes and cooking from your cupboard are free.
Hi PH, I'm Enrico and I built Forkin.
I wanted one app for the whole food loop instead of five: see what's in a product, decide what to cook, plan the week, shop, and keep track.
So Forkin does all of that. Scan a barcode and see what's really in it, with every score showing how it was worked out. Type what's in your fridge (say half an onion, spinach and a tin of chickpeas) and it finds recipes sorted by how many ingredients you already own. Plan the week, turn it into one shopping list, cook with a guide that reads the steps out loud, and log what you eat.
A few things I care about: no ads, ever. Your data isn't sold. It's bootstrapped and runs on EU servers.
Typing ingredients, recipes and scanning are free. Photo and voice input, the cook-along guide and extra meal plans are part of Pro.
I'd love to know which part you'd actually use, and what's missing.

Who hunted Forkin?
Forkin was hunted by Enrico Piffer. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
