The problem I kept running into: I'd run an FMEA in a spreadsheet, then re-upload the same drawing to a different tool for tolerance analysis, then separately ask an AI chatbot a question and not trust the number it gave me back. Three tools, one drawing, and none of them remembered what I'd already told them five minutes earlier.
ForgePilot started as a simple AI Q&A tool. The real shift came when I looked at actual usage data: people who ran one analysis and left never came back, but the moment files stayed stored in a project instead of being re-uploaded every time, people returned to keep working in it.
