👋 Hi Product Hunt! I'm Ryutaro, the creator of FoodGram 🍜📍 I built FoodGram because I wanted a better way to remember the meals, cafés, and restaurants that made special moments in my life. Existing platforms focus on ratings and reviews, but FoodGram is designed around memories. Every meal has a story, a place, and an experience worth keeping. With FoodGram, you can: ✨ Save your favorite food memories on a map 📍 Track restaurants and cafés you've visited 📸 Build your own visual food journal ✈️ Relive your travels through food experiences Whether you're a foodie, traveler, or someone who simply loves discovering new places to eat, FoodGram helps you create a personal map of your culinary journey. I'd love to hear your thoughts, feedback, and ideas for making FoodGram even better. Thank you for checking it out! ❤️

How does the anonymous posting actually work, like do your followers still see it or is it totally hidden from your account?

How does the anonymous posting actually work if anyone can still see the food photos tied to a general location?

Thank you for checking out FoodGram! 🙌
The screenshots on Product Hunt are currently in Japanese, but FoodGram already supports 10 languages 🌍✨
So there's a good chance you can experience the app in your own language!
I'd love for you to give it a try and share a meal too 🍜📍

One thing that would make this so much better for travel: let users add a dish to a "wishlist" tied to a specific city or trip, so when I'm planning a trip to Tokyo I can build a list of spots from the app instead of screenshotting. Would also love to see it on Android eventually.

love the no-scores no-ads approach, feels refreshing already. one thing i'd find super useful: a "similar dishes" button on each post that shows other photos of people eating the same meal, so you can compare plating and presentation before deciding where to go. would make scrolling way more purposeful.

The food map feature is genuinely useful for finding spots when traveling, and I love that posts feel unfiltered without all the ad clutter. Surprised how clean the browsing experience is compared to other food apps.

Finally tried FoodGram and the no-scores, no-ads approach actually makes browsing feel calm and genuine. Scrolling through the global food map is genuinely addictive.
