Hey everyone, great to finally post this thing I've been working on for a while!
I built this because I've been pretty frustrated by GPS apps. They are either great but only work with one destination, or allow super nice road-tripping features but with not-so-great design and experience.
I've been dreaming about making both meet for a while.
Here's Folomi, a GPS and roadbook app and web-app built for people who love driving, riding, exploring, and following beautiful routes instead of just getting from A to B as fast as possible.
With Folomi, you can:
• Create and save roadbooks
• Follow GPS navigation built around your planned route
• Keep routes available for offline use
• Track completed roadbooks
• Use safety/caution alerts while driving
Roadbook creation, research, and saving are free. Turn-by-turn navigation, offline roadbooks, and advanced driving features are included in Folomi Go, the premium plan. We just got CarPlay entitlement from Apple, so that’s one of the next big milestones that'll be included with Go, along with routing options like Twisty / Super twisty.
The app just launched on the App Store, so I’d really appreciate feedback on the first-time experience, in the app and on the web, the roadbook concept, and what you’d expect from this kind of navigation app.

Who hunted Folomi?
Folomi was hunted by Quentin Morisseau. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
