The Inspiration & Problem: As a photographer, I found myself constantly repeating the same tedious task after every shoot: selecting, renaming, resizing, and converting photos so they are optimized for web portfolios, clients, or social media. Doing this through heavy software like Lightroom/Photoshop felt slow, while web-based converters raised privacy concerns and lacked custom renaming options.
The Solution: I built FocusDeck to be a lightweight, lightning-fast desktop utility that does exactly that, offline and locally:
Batch rename based on EXIF capture dates (no more DSC_1234.JPG!).
Convert RAW (.RAF, .CR2, .NEF, etc.) and standard formats directly to WebP or JPEG.
Auto-resize to web-friendly dimensions in seconds.
100% private: Your photos never leave your machine.
