Absolutely love this app!
Seriously, it's helped me become so much more productive. Prior to discovering the app, I would think I was "studying the whole time" when in reality I was getting distracted by social media for a considerable amount of time.
Focumon allows me to keep track of exactly how long I've been focusing and how long I was in "break" for. The gamification is very well executed and highly motivating, making it even more enjoyable to use!
Additionally, Milton is such a nice dude and I love how he listens to feedback and actively engages with and updates the community (the discord server)

Nothing beats gamification, especially when it comes to habit forming. This is a solid approach @milton_ren. What inspired this product?

Congrats on the launch @milton_ren! Love the concept and the art work and just how polished the product is!
One thing though is I found the flow a bit complex for someone learning how to use the product. For example, you can start out the user on a starting island/city/town, so they don't have to think about the gym. They can type out what they want to do, and to-dolist is generated and points are given to each task. A few ways to reduce the options users have to make, otherwise, for me, it felt a bit too much. I also don't know what the other options are other than Pomodoro.
But, this idea of growing a digital pet is awesome!
Hope you grow so much that you receive a cease and desist from Nintendo, and you have to create your own world like Palworld did.
I've never played any Pokémon games but even without any nostalgia at play there has *not been a single* focus/productivity app in the world that I enjoy using as much as Focumon!
Everything else I tried I stopped using within a week but with Focumon... its been months and I still love using it!!=))) There is something uniquely engaging in leveling up those fun creatures, and I appreciate very much the ability to track work/break time, especially with the addition of "quest books", simple task lists, and "my stack". Yet the KEY feature to what I believe has kept the app so engaging for me is the social component of having a "party" and being able to interact with others -- this I felt was incredibly lacking in all other apps I tried!!!🏆
That's why I feel even further expanding the social elements, interactivity, and working towards common goals (like events already allow) would make Focumon even more amazing.
