Flyto2 Runtime
Let ChatGPT edit, run, and test your local projects
Connect ChatGPT to your own machine over MCP. Let it read and edit project files, run commands and tests, use Git, and review the result. Flyto2 Runtime is open source, uses OAuth for remote access, and offers background services on macOS and Windows. No Flyto2 Cloud account required.
Hi everyone! I built Flyto2 Runtime because coding with ChatGPT often meant moving files, commands, and error messages back and forth by hand.
Runtime connects ChatGPT to your local project so it can make changes, run tests, and inspect what happened in the same workflow. Your machine remains the execution environment, and you configure the workspace roots it can access.
The project includes OAuth, background services for macOS and Windows, setup assistance for HTTPS tunnels, and recovery for long-running work. It is MIT-licensed and based on Waishnav/devspace, with attribution preserved.
You will need Node.js, Git, and Bash/Git Bash/WSL. Shell execution uses your local account's permissions; it is not a full OS sandbox. The setup guide and security model are linked in the repository.
I'd love to hear where setup is confusing and what local workflows you want to complete from chat.
