Flyimg actually started as an open source project (now with 1200+ Github Star), built to solve a simple problem:
getting the right image size, compression, and format without managing multiple versions or pipelines.
The idea is simple: images should just be transformed on the fly, based on what you need.
The open source version has been used and tested by the community for a while, and this launch is the SaaS version: a managed service, so you don’t have to run and maintain it yourself.
