Hey Product Hunt 👋 I’m Marko, the solo developer behind FLXBL. I started building FLXBL in 2022 because I kept hitting the same backend problem: relationship-heavy apps quickly turn into junction tables, recursive CTEs, custom CRUD endpoints, and migration complexity. FLXBL is my attempt to make graph-native backends feel as approachable as a modern BaaS: • Design entities and relationships visually • Get REST + GraphQL APIs instantly • Store relationship properties on edges, not fake join tables • Use generated TypeScript clients, Query DSL, webhooks, subscriptions, auth, and vector fields • Let coding agents operate safely through an LLM-friendly CLI with JSON output, stdin payloads, stable exit codes, and dry-run previews I also built three open-source examples to show the kinds of apps FLXBL is good for: • BrainLinks — an AI knowledge base combining vector search and graph traversal • Kickass CMS — content management with authors, media, workflow, revisions, and hierarchies • 6 Degrees of Bacon — shortest-path actor discovery using graph relationships FLXBL is in public beta. I’m especially looking for feedback from people building SaaS apps, internal tools, AI knowledge systems, CMS/workflow products, recommendation systems, and anything where relationships matter.

Best of luck Marko, product looks very interesting. We currently have implemented in-house GraphQL server for Crana.AI but will keep an eye on this as it might help us on some smaller projects.

How do you handle changes over time, like migrations and keeping generated clients in sync?
