Hi PH 👋 I'm a solo builder who hit an "intermediate plateau" with Mandarin - the beginner apps got me so far, then when I visited China the speed of "real Chinese" was a shock! It made me realise that the locals do not speak the way we learn and the way it's spoken in text books! Fluendly is what I built as a solution to practice hearing native speakers, and repeating the way they say it, in a fun and engaging way! Learn from how people actually speak, one short video clip at a time, from vlogs, movies, talkshows, and so on. Tap a word, save it, review it, and shadow the speaker.
