Before, I only knew that online meeting software has automatic recording and AI transcription, or you need to add a recording bot to the meeting software. This makes me have to conduct a synchronous meeting online when I have an offline meeting.
Flownote seems to be able to turn offline meeting recordings into concise meeting notes, which is a very useful feature.

Does everything work on-device or the data is stored somewhere on backend?
Looks interesting but the privacy policy is quite anemic and doesn't give a ton of confidence when you are storing lots of sensitive and proprietary data. It would help to go into more detail about: what data is stored (and for how long), how it is secured, and how easy it is to delete meeting data once it is exported (including any external services used like ChatGPT -- since those have privacy / retention implications too).
I am a big fan of unlocking productivity boosts using AI. Congrats on the launch, definitely going to check it out.

Absolutely needed! How much easier to interviews become when you don't have to hire a transcriber or (way worse) start and stop the recording to write down what was said. Really awesome release!
