Floaty OS
AI cofounder for founders building without engineers
Floaty helps founders plan, build, review, and launch products before they have an engineering team. Start with one idea and turn it into a working app surface, workflow, or launch asset.
I built Floaty around a simple thesis: the technical cofounder bottleneck is getting smaller. Most founder tools either stop at chat, stop at code, or stop at a workflow builder.
Floaty is meant to connect the messy middle: product planning, app surfaces, browser research, launch copy, review, and follow-up.
Floaty also includes our own in-house model, Floaty 2.0, trained for founder/operator workflows, alongside frontier models when a task needs them.
The launch is focused on one thing:
Tell Floaty what you’re building, and it helps turn the idea into a first working product or operating workflow.
It’s free to try in the browser, with no signup required for the first few messages. Mac and Windows desktop builds are live too.
I’d love blunt feedback on whether the “AI technical cofounder” positioning lands.
