Hey all, I'm Nenad, I built this on my own over the last few years, and shipped it today.
The short version: I had a pile of books and saved articles on my phone I kept meaning to get to and never did, reading on the phone is far from ideal; so I built an RSVP flashes your text a phrase at a time, big, right in the same spot, so your eyes just... stop moving. You stay put, the words come to you.
It splits by *phrase* rather than a fixed word count (on-device language parsing, so "a" and "an extraordinarily long word" don't get equal screen time), and honestly that turned out to matter for more than just speed. A few people I tested this with who find normal paragraphs tiring to track (small dense text, losing your line, eyes jumping around) said the big-text-one-phrase-at-a-time thing was just easier to read, full stop, speed aside. I wasn't expecting that but it makes sense once you think about it.
Reads EPUB, PDF, Word docs, pasted text, or a URL. Everything happens on your phone, no account, nothing synced anywhere. $3.99 once, no subscription, no ads, because I'm tired of those too.
