We built Flipr because bedtime kept running into the same wall: our kids wanted a new story every night, and we were out of ideas by Tuesday.
Early on we tried just plugging in a generic AI chatbot, but it fell flat. Kids don't want a one-off story, they want to see themselves and their world again and again. So we rebuilt the whole approach around a persistent story universe, powered by generative AI under the hood: your child, your family, even your pet become recurring characters who show up across new adventures. You type what your child feels like today, and Flipr turns it into a complete story with illustrations and narration, ready in under 2 minutes.
