Flipp started from a simple frustration: almost every PDF tool asked me to upload documents to a server before doing something as basic as merging, splitting, or converting a file.
That felt backwards. Many PDFs contain resumes, contracts, invoices, IDs, and other sensitive information. Yet uploading them to unknown servers has become normal.
So I started building a different approach: a PDF toolkit where everything happens directly in the browser. No uploads, no accounts, no waiting for server processing. Your files stay on your device.
What began as a few simple tools gradually evolved into a complete PDF workspace with conversion, editing, OCR, protection, watermarking, and more—all running locally.
