I built FlicKey because I type in Hebrew and English all day. I kept moving from WhatsApp or Teams to Terminal and only noticing after I had typed somthing unreadable.
The part I really wanted was memory at a smaller level than just the app. One Teams chat can stay in English while another stays in Hebrew, and each browser tab or website can remember its own layout too. If it still gets it wrong, FlicKey fixes the text or converts it with a double tap of Shift.
I also felt strongly that an app with keyboard permissions should be open source. Everything important happens locally, and there is no account, analytics or telemetry.
There is a 30 day free trial, then it is pay what you want once from $2.99. I would really like honest feedback, especally from people who switch languages all day.
