Introducing AI form feedback and AI-powered training coach. Flex AI is the world’s first AI personal trainer. The new update (Flex 3.0) introduces real-time AI Form Feedback and Lex—an AI persona that adapts your workout plan, analyzes your lifts, corrects your form instantly, and answers questions about training, recovery, and nutrition.
This journey started seven years ago with a simple frustration: why are gym-goers still guessing their form? Back then I was tracking workouts in my Notes app, checking YouTube mid set, and wondering if I was doing any of it right. That spark turned into a seven-year grind, countless failed prototypes, one AI patent, and a team that refused to quit.
I've been a long time user and can vouch that it's a great app to track progress and log workouts and the introduction of new features like the form analysis have only made it better would definitely recommend
This looks really solid! Having something that actually gives feedback on form could be a game changer. Congrats on the launch!
I’ve been using Flex since last year. I’ve gone back to my gym routine this year and it’s so easy for me to open up Flex and start the workout. The social media sharing with a very friendly community also gave me more confidence which I don’t normally have regarding my fitness - also loving to get inspired by other people. I can’t wait to try out more AI assistance features to help managing my workouts (which, I don’t plan very well on my own without a trainer), and correct my forms. Big thanks and kudos to Flex and the team.
Really impressed with this app. The workouts actually adapt to how I’m performing, and the form feedback has helped a ton. Super easy to use and makes the gym feel way more structured.
Been using flex for a year now and it’s helped me a lot on my fitness journey. So grateful to have a community that also cheers one another and makes the everyday easier. The AI feature is amazing and so helpful for people who are getting started and need help with their routine.
The feature I'm most excited about is the AI-enabled auto-progression -- I can just do my workouts, not having to worry about switching up my weights or reps, knowing that my set values are being optimized for every workout. Also, "Savage Lex", the AI personal trainer, is hilarious; keeps me coming back session after session.
I’ve always loved group fitness for the daily variety, but once I went back to the gym I found myself repeating the same routine for months. That’s a big part of why I’m so excited to be part of the team building Flex AI and Lex (the AI trainer). I wanted to bring that variety back. Now I’m getting new, personalized workouts every day that fit perfectly into my routine. Using it myself has been awesome.
So proud to be part of the team bringing Flex 3.0 to life after years of work. We poured a lot of love into making the AI interaction feel seamless—can't wait to see you all crush your workouts with it!
I’m personally loving the AI workout generator. It solves the problem of doing the same old exercises and keeps the gym fun and fresh.
I always get distracted in the gym in between my sets with the urge to doom scroll on my phone. I thought there was no hope for a change... until my friend told me how she was logging her workouts distraction-free in the gym with her Apple Watch.
She showed me Flex AI and I've been hooked ever since. The Apple Watch experience is the best I've found in the fitness market for a phone + distraction free workout session, and the UI is a joy to use. Sharing my workouts and progress with friends has been a fun way to keep in touch with my friends abroad too!
Flex’s design goal is simple: remove mental clutter at the gym. Every part of our app is crafted to lower cognitive load so you can focus on your workout, not your phone. Flex gives you exactly what you need — clear cues, smart defaults, seamless logging — and then gets out of the way. It’s designed to feel light, intuitive, and genuinely enjoyable to use.
I've been using Flex for a long time. It's become my favorite way to track my workouts, and I've been hoping it would get an AI trainer and ground-up rethink around AI, so I can't wait to try all these new features!
Tried it during my workout today and honestly didn’t expect it to be this good. The form checks actually caught stuff I usually miss, and having quick answers on the spot feels super handy. Kinda feels like having a trainer in your pocket. I’m definitely keeping this in my routine.
This app is great for people like me who are often in the gym but struggle to maintain a strict routine. I love being able to share my workout results with my friends, and not needing to track on paper.
Having AI generate workouts has been awesome because it suggested some exercises I hadn't tried before, and I'm loving them. Experienced lifters have a lot to learn too!
I think calling it "world’s first AI personal trainer" is a bit misleading as there are already quite a few alternatives, also from big providers. Despite this I like the design and straightforward onboarding.
Having restarted my gym journey, after being stuck with just home workouts and now without a personal trainer, Flex has been my go-to "gym partner" for creating workouts suited to my style and needs. What's now great is how it gives me feedback on my form, during my workouts. Been loving this feature for what it's worth.
No more logging sets manually, no more recording and playing back a video to myself, no more having to remember to progress my weights or reps. It's all taken care of now! Love the new release!
I’ve always struggled with feeling judged in the gym because I was never sure if I was doing movements correctly. YouTube tutorials helped a bit, but without real feedback I still couldn’t tell what I was doing wrong. Having something that gives instant form cues has been a huge confidence boost. Using this in beta was honestly a game-changer, and I’m excited that more people who deal with the same anxiety can finally try it too.
I come from a remote area where I don’t have access to fancy gyms and qualified PTs. I’ve tried some workout apps before but each and every one of them lacked some personal touch.
I came across Flex AI recently and I was in love with the UX instantly. I’ve been eagerly waiting for the launch of Flex 3.0 which comes with the AI trainer and honestly it’s a game changer; particularly for a country guy like me.
It’s reliable and improving day by day. It deserves all the recognition.
