Hi Product Hunt, I'm Piotr, and I built FlatStock on my own.
I kept reading the same complaint from small shops, resellers and contractors: the inventory app they picked starts cheap, then prices by item count or per person. Add item 501, or a second person, and the bill moves.
FlatStock is the opposite bet. One plan, $24.99 a month or $199 a year, up to 10,000 items, one login on as many devices as you like. No tiers and no seat fees.
Where the time actually went:
- The importer. It reads a Sortly export, photos included, and shows a dry run of everything it will create before it writes anything. Migrating is the reason people stay with a tool they have stopped liking.
- Offline for real. The phone keeps its own database and syncs in the background, so a basement or a storage unit with no signal is fine.
- Leaving stays easy. If you stop paying, the account goes read-only and full CSV export keeps working. Your data is never the hostage.
What it doesn't do yet: no purchase orders, no multi-warehouse transfers, no marketplace or Shopify sync. If you need those, it isn't the right tool today, and I'd rather say so here.
