FlashDocs lets you generate Google Slides and PowerPoint decks from your product — using just one API call. Markdown, charts, images, tables, merge tags, brand themes — all handled. Build it once, export stunning decks everywhere.
We’re Morten and Adam, co-founders of FlashDocs - and today we’re launching the slide export API we always wanted but could never find.
🚧 The Problem
If your product generates insights, summaries, or analysis - and your users want to export that into a custom branded slide deck - you’ve probably faced this mess:
Wrestling with XML and Google Slides API
Dealing with inconsistent branding and templates
Python or .js libraries without export to pptx or Google Slides
Or worse… having your users manually copy-paste into a deck
We hit these pain points again and again - at McKinsey, Google, and in our last startup. So we decided to fix it.
✅ The Solution
With a single API call, you can go from Markdown, JSON, or LLM output → into fully branded PowerPoint or Google Slides decks.
Huge thanks to the PH team and to @fmerian for supporting our launch. We’re here all day answering questions, fixing bugs, and cheering on other launches.
We’d love your feedback:
What would you use FlashDocs to export?
What formats or integrations should we build next?
Want help building a quick POC? Just ask.

Such a great tool! Adam and Morten are still the only people I can go to when I need to create tricky and beautiful AI experiences with PPT. Love the product and the team!
Huge congrats on the launch guys - super interesting pain point, especially for data scientists!
This is going to be great! Such an awesome tool already - and one that actually works.
Congratulations @fmerian@tessa_loria@himani_sah1@mortenatoren on the launch. This seems like a great asset for the CSMs and Sales teams that run QBRs for enterprise clients using data from our analytics and insights tools. I do have another pain point as a product marketer - which maybe is out of scope for y'all at the moment - Updating the help center, creating release notes, etc. The help center has 600-700+ articles, and a good chunk needs to be updated every sprint to accomodate UX changes, new flows, features, deprecated features, etc. @mortenatoren does this sound like an interesting business use case?
I’ve tried dozens of tools, but NativeMind stands out for its balance of power, flexibility, and user-friendly design.
Exactly what we needed to automate branded slide decks from Markdown or LLM output love the seamless charts, tables, and brand consistency. Excited to see what’s next!
Very cool – it's finally time somebody builds this product. Can't tell you the number of decks I've had to work through and the hours and hours and hours it took to get them right. Huge!
Congrats Morten & Team on the launch!! This is an insane product release!! So many use cases for our customers to use with this and save our engineers so much time. 👏👏
Well done to the team! Automating branded presentations will save countless hours for many businesses. Are there plans to support more advanced animation or interactive features in the future?
Awesome product. I can see us using this to allow our users to export Jo's AI-powered user research reports as slides that can be shared with their teams. This is a roadmap item that I might have to look at FlashDocs for! Good luck on the launch.
Well done! You rock for creating slides dynamically, FlashDocs API!
This functionality is incredibly powerful and saves so much time. It's a game-changer for automating presentations and ensures consistency across various reports and updates. Truly impressed with this feature!
