I wanted to capture a familiar tabletop moment: you’ve had a good turn, you know you should bank your points, and you’re already reaching for the dice again.
In Five or Fold, you start with five dice. After a scoring roll, you can bank your points or roll the remaining dice to build a bigger turn. Roll without scoring and you lose the points you’ve built up that turn. One twist I like is that when two 5s come up together, you can score them as a single 1 instead.
You can play directly in your browser without signing up. If you give it a try, I’d love to know whether the scoring felt clear on your first turn and what made you risk one more roll.
